Our services go above the standard disconnect/reconnect services. Our disconnect reconnect check sheet is customized for your move enabling you to have your equipment moved to fit your needs best using our experience and resources. We bring to the table an organized, managed, repeatable process that includes quality control throughout the process.
Disconnect at origin location
- Perform orderly shutdown of PC and peripherals
- Put keyboard, mouse, and cables in keyboard bag
- Put check sheet in keyboard bag (contains list of items at desk)
- Put user setup sheet in keyboard bag (how user wants their items placed)
- Tag system pieces (keyboard bag, monitor, CPU, peripherals)
- Disconnect and place in computer moving crate
Reconnect at destination location
- Unpack system from crate
- Confirm all system pieces arrived intact
- Setup system neatly on desk as indicated by client
- Boot system to a login prompt (and login if applicable)
- Confirm keyboard and mouse are working
- QC cables/ desk items for proper placement
- Escalate to PM if problems
- Deliver asset inventory and punch list of identified problems to client
